The short answer
A short video every day, about 30 a month, costs very different amounts depending on who makes it. Social media agencies average roughly $2,100 to $5,100 a month for social work in general. Published short-video packages run about $150 to $3,000 per video, and UGC campaigns average about $197. An editing-only freelancer can be about $13 a video if you supply the footage. Percify’s Creator plan, at $26 a month, covers about 41 talking videos.

Price per video, on one scale
Not on the chart: a social media agency, which is not priced per video. Clutch’s reviewed projects average $5,107 a month (2026) and HeyOrca’s survey $2,107 a month (2024), for social work in general, video usually extra.
Log scale, US dollars per video, as published by each source; they measure different things, so read them as ranges, not quotes. Percify’s figure is its live Creator price divided by the talking videos its credits cover.
Compare like for like
Count what is included
An agency retainer may include strategy and community management; a studio, polish; a freelancer, only editing. Price per video only means something once you know what you still do yourself.
Count your own time
Editing-only and DIY look cheap until you add filming, scripting and posting. That time is the real cost of a video a day.
Check usage rights
UGC prices often cover the video, not the right to run it as an ad. Usage rights are often priced separately and can add substantially to the cost.
Mind what the numbers measure
The figures here come from different sources measuring different things: general social retainers, video packages, creator collaborations. Use them as ranges, not quotes.

It varies widely: Clutch’s reviewed projects average $5,107 a month (2026), and HeyOrca’s survey put the average at $2,107 a month for about 3 posts a week per platform, video not included (2024). Short video is often priced separately.
UGC campaigns averaged about $197 in Collabstr’s 2026 report of more than 21,000 collaborations, and nearly 80% of all collaborations cost under $300. A campaign may include more than one video, and usage rights for ads are often priced separately.
Doing it yourself costs only time. After that, an editing-only freelancer can be about $13 a video if you film, and AI that makes the video from your face and voice removes the filming too.
About 30 talking videos a month, about 15 seconds each on Fast, the default quality (2 credits a second; High costs 6), is about 900 credits, which the Creator plan ($26 a month, 1,233 credits) covers. Having them posted for you needs a posting account: Scale and Ultra include them, or any plan adds one for $5 a month.
