The short answer
Monthly views from short-form video are accounts × posts a day × 30 × average views per post. One account posting twice a day at 1,000 views a post makes 60,000 views a month; reaching 10 million at those numbers would take about 167 accounts, so raising views per post is the cheaper lever. For scale, YouTube Shorts averages over 200 billion views a day, and Reels plays exceeded 200 billion a day across Facebook and Instagram in 2023; TikTok publishes no total.

Your goal: views a month
167 accounts at your mix, posting 2 a day each: 10,020 posts a month.
A calculator, not a forecast: every input is yours. Platform totals are the platforms’ own published figures (sources below); the “1 in” share compares your daily views with them.
What moves the number
Views per post
The biggest lever and the hardest one. Doubling it doubles everything, without a single extra post.
Posts a day
More posts multiply views only while each post holds its quality. A rushed third post often drags the average down.
Accounts
More accounts add views only when each has its own audience and original posts. TikTok, Instagram and YouTube all push down reused or mass-produced videos.
Platform mix
The same video can run on TikTok, Reels and Shorts. Three platforms from one video triples the posts without tripling the making.
The platform figures
Read on 1 October 2026 from each company’s own publication. TikTok publishes no total of daily views, so the calculator shows none rather than an estimate. Each platform counts differently: YouTube counts a view the moment a video starts to play (all formats since 24 August 2026), Instagram each time a reel starts to play or replay, so the totals are not directly comparable.

Accounts × posts a day per account × 30 days × average views per post, per platform, added up. Use your real average from your analytics, not your best post.
Divide the goal by what one account makes in a month. At 2 posts a day and 1,000 views a post, one account makes 60,000 views a month, so 10 million takes about 167 accounts. At 10,000 views a post it takes about 17.
Your own past average is the only honest starting point. Averages vary by niche, account age and platform far more than any rule of thumb.
TikTok does not publish a total. YouTube Shorts averages over 200 billion views a day (June 2025), and Meta reported over 200 billion Reels plays a day across Facebook and Instagram (July 2023).
Only if each has its own audience and original posts. TikTok makes unoriginal or reused material ineligible for the For You feed, Instagram removes accounts that repeatedly repost others’ content from recommendations, and YouTube’s spam policy bans automated mass-production. Copies of one video across many accounts lose reach rather than add it.
Yes, and it is the cheapest way to raise posts a day. Percify posts approved videos to up to 10 platforms; posting accounts come with Scale (3) and Ultra (10), or $5 a month each on any plan.
